About the Role: 
We are hiring a Storeperson and are seeking an energetic go-getter to join our small, friendly team. This role is full time and reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.

In this position, you will be required to actively assume responsibility for the safe receipt, storage, control and dispatch of goods from suppliers and to customers, from the Company’s warehouse and distribution center.  This role interacts with numerous internal departments and external service providers, and plays a pivotal role in ensuring our business runs smoothly on a daily basis. 

Key responsibilities:
•    Receipting of all inwards goods and dispatch of all outwards orders accurately and in a timely manner.
•    Assist in the management of product storage to ensure product integrity, compliance, and space optimisation.
•    Undertake stocktakes and maintain accurate stock control at all times.
•    Ensure the accurate preparation of raw materials for use in production.
•    Liaise with freight and storage suppliers to ensure effective processes and working relationships.
•    Maintain strong working relationships with internal departments such as Sales, Production, Quality, Supply Chain and Product Development.
 

Skills and Experience:
•    Previous experience working in a  warehouse and/or a food production environment
•    Previous forklift experience a must
•    F and D endorsement with OSH forklift certificate an advantage
•    MPI Biosecurity Approved person certificate an advantage
•    Experience using warehouse management systems
•    Clean, current NZ full Driver’s License
•    Team player with solutions-focused approach
•    High attention to detail 
•    Effective time management skills
