Summary
The Account Manager of Nourish contribute to the growth, profitability, and enhancement of the image of IFF by building and providing effective regular customer communication to ensure interface between customer and IFF in understanding and translating their needs and requirements. 

Promoting IFF products and technologies effectively by providing efficient sales services, the Account Manager will develop excellent business partnership between customer and IFF. Consistently adhere to and follow all IFF Core Value principles and business requirements and guidelines.

 


How you will lead and contribute:
•    Contribute to the growth, profitability and enhancement of the branding of IFF by providing effective regular customer communication to ensure interface between the customer and IFF in understanding and translating their needs and requirements.  
•    Communicate and promote the agreed standard “First Choice List” SEA IFF Product Range to the Customer base while meeting IFF’s agreed segmentation service policy for this Customer base.

•    Management of designated Global or Regional Key Accounts by forecasting, sampling, providing price quotations and follow up of customer queries and handling of customer complaints - in accordance with IFF’s procedures in order to deliver the expected customer sales service platform.

•    Identify, develop, and evaluate new business opportunities at existing and new accounts with partner distributors capturing these opportunities in both Salesforce.com. Selectively convert them into new sales to expand the profitable market share of the company.
•    Participate in the development of Industry plan team for your designated industry categories, identifying assessable market potentials, market trends and key customer opportunities and continually review your execution, progress and potential for upgrades on a monthly cycle with the team.

•    Monthly updating of customer call reports, opportunity management (Project progression & Measurable value zone’s), segmentation data, competitive information, and forward copies to relevant stakeholders in order to keep the team informed to optimize business opportunities

•    Provide a timely and accurate Activity Report to the Sales Leaders for inclusion in the SEA reporting requirements to effectively measure progress against agreed plans and to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.  Reports will be completed as per company standards.

•    Work cooperatively with peers and leaders to ensure personal and company sales targets and performance measures are achieved and team based culture fostered.  

•    Prepare key account plan and report relevant market information.

•    Conduct quarterly key account plan review to relevant internal stakeholders across the region.

•    Maintain customer information and database related to the accounts

•    Partner with operation team to ensure customer satisfactions in term of services and supply.

What you will need to be successful:

•    Tertiary Qualification in Food Science and Technology, Food and Nutrition, Chemical Engineering, Marketing or other relevant discipline.
•    Minimum of 5 years solid Sales Experiences in the Food Industry. Having both Flavors and Ingredients background is an added advantage.

•    Able to work independently and as part of a team.  Demonstrates respect for people

•    Ability to assimilate commercial and/or technical information and communicate effectively to both customers and/or IFF team members

•    Demonstrated drive to achieve a customer service attitude.

•    Proven ability to priorities work and meet deadlines.

•    Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail.

•    Strong communication and listening skills that are service orientated and focused on exceeding customer expectations.

•    Demonstrated “can do” attitude, positive approach to problem solving and flexible in being able to priorities multiple tasks.

•    Experience in ERP software, computerized office software and business operating software (MS Excel, MS Word essential and PowerPoint an advantage). Knowledge in Salesforce is an added advantage.
