Job Description

To support Nourish business development of IFF core nutritional ingredients especially for ISP specialty protein, from the perspective of nutrition science, work together with nutritionist from key account customers such as Amway, Herbalife ,Biostime, Danone  USANA/Baby care to support their clinical study, technical seminar, new concepts & new products development. 
To provide professional nutrition guidance and knowledge support to key clients and internal teams, particularly plays an important role on solutions development & promotion activities of the emerging area for Special Medical Purposes Food.
Establish good connections with nutritional academic institutions and associations to constantly enhance the influence of the company and core ingredients.


  • Participate in the company's new nutritional ingredients development, testing, verification and provide feedback & assessment report of application experiment result.
  • Provide technical services and support to key account customers in terms of technical seminar, training, clinical study, new concept & new product development.
  • Provide nutritional knowledge support and guidance to application teams so as to ensure the scientific and rationality at nutrition perspective.
  • Together with application, market & sales team, promote IFF products including ingredients, flavors and new concepts & solutions to related customers.
  • Establish connections between IFF Nourish and local nutritional academic institutions/ associations to constantly build up influence of the company and core ingredients.
  • Together with application teams to develop proactive technology solutions and new concept products to support emerging market and potential opportunities.

Job Requirements

Technical knowledge/skills requirements

  • Master or PHD degree in nutrition science or food science.
  • In-depth knowledge of nutrition science & food technology with at least 5 years of relevant working experience. 
  • Good application experience on nutritional formulations development or R&D background on nutritional ingredients related to dietary supplement or FSMP.           
  • Well knowledge & application experience in common food ingredients are essential.
  • Medical nutrition background with skills in clinical study project design and project management experience
  • Able to independently drive and work on multiple projects and customer TSR (technical service request).
  • Strong presentation & communication skills. 
  • Good reporting capability.
  • Strong oral and written skills in both Chinese and English.
