VP, IT-Strategic Business Partner

As the VP, IT-Strategic Business Partner, You will:

• Lead IT program and portfolio management for the Health & Biosciences and Pharma businesses. Develop business cases and advise on IT investment allocation.
• Advise leadership and build relationships with the business.
• Collaborate with IT Solution delivery and digital/data capabilities for agile delivery.
• Contribute to enterprise strategy and business capability strategic planning. Lead development of IT strategic plan and roadmap related to the BU.
• End to end project ownership of IT initiatives.

Relationship/Customer focused – Builds effective relationships at all levels of the business to build a comprehensive needs analysis.
Strategic Agility – Anticipates and develops a clear IT Technology strategy for the assigned business unit.
Business Acumen – Understands the inner workings of the businesses and functions and builds operational plans to drive business and customer impact.
Technology Driven – Leverages digital trends to create scalable solutions.
Prioritization – Quickly identifies the critical few and contracts with the key decision makers.

Job Requirements

• 10+ years in IT roles of increasing responsibility most recently managing partnerships between IT and the business.
• Technical background to draw from a wide range of experiences.
• Experience working closely with business leaders, knows the environment well and can identify issues and adapt as necessary.
• Experience managing the program and project portfolio for very complex IT initiatives.
• Experience creating an enterprise process architecture.
• Experience with prior global M&A’s is preferred.
• Cross Functional leadership across businesses and functions (highly matrixed organizations).
