IFF is very excited to welcome a new Statutory Reporting COE Accountant in Asturias, Spain. This role is part of the Statutory Reporting Center of Excellence team. 

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and end-to-end reporting of the Local GAAP financial statements of all the entities under her/his responsibility in compliance with Corporate and local policies. Also, you'll have a key role in the audit activities and internal controls of the legal entities under your scope and you’ll be the main contact for local accounting matters.

 

 

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

- Lead the accurate completion of all year-end closing activities for the entities under own responsibility.

- Preparation of local books for the entities under your responsibility

- Prepare and analyze the reporting of all entities for local purposes, i.e., Trend Analysis, Cash Flow, Sales Gross Margin… Analyze data and translate into meaningful information.

- Responsible for ensuring compliance of all applicable Internal Controls in the Accounting & Reporting area. Reconcile all accounts under your responsibility.

- Develop and maintain strong effective working relationship with all stakeholders.

- Be a center of expertise and support in all technical local accounting matters.

- Participation in projects as needed.

Job Requirements

 

QUALIFICATIONS


- Your University Degree in Accounting/Finance

- We will rely on your 3-5 years of accounting and financial reporting experience or audit required.

- The successful candidate has business proficiency in English.

- Additional languages will be considered a plus.

- You have good Microsoft Office skills.

- Advanced knowledge of SAP is an asset.
