We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our Nourish team as a Quality Assurance Supervisor. This position is based in Thailand.


Your Focus


As Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will be task to implementing, ensuring and evaluate Quality and Food Safety for the organization. You will conduct internal audits for halal and food safety systems. 


How You Will Contribute

 

  • Responsible for the implementation of Food Safety System certification and other customer requirements in coordination with the Quality Manager. Coordinates with Quality Manager on the FSSC 22000 related activities such as Management Review, Risk Assessment and others.
  • Ensures that relevant programs related to Quality & Food Safety Systems are implemented and improve when necessary. Provide trainings related to above programs such as IQA and document control.
  • Handles the HALAL Assurance Systems of the plant.  Ensures that Master list of Raw Materials and Halal certificates and other related documents are maintained and updated in a timely manner. Coordinates with affiliates for the document requests and planner for raw materials.
  • Generates reports / data / procedures covering QA/QC related activities as specified in the Company’s quality Systems Operating procedures and Quality manual. Assist on the development, implementation and maintenance of the overall Quality System and other regulatory requirements.  Develop QA programs like GMP. HACCP, Food Safety, etc. Provide relevant trainings to the personnel.
  • Conduct the internal audits for halal, quality and food safety systems at a defined frequency. Ensures monitoring, closure, and effective implementation of each audit findings. Recommend whenever necessary.
  • Evaluate, certify, and verify analytical / evaluation of data for both incoming raw and packaging materials. Responsibility specifically includes prevention of further reprocessing and/or delivery of non-conforming materials when a problem is identified. Reports to Operations and provides immediate disposition and recommendations (if applicable) for non-conforming materials.
  • Ensure the conduct of all analysis for incoming and in process (if any) raw and packaging in a timely manner. Ensure the identification, traceability and QC status disposition of all inventory items. This includes all raw/packaging materials due to revaluation, slow moving and non-moving items.
  • Ensure the conduct of all analysis for products after approving the production processes by confirming specifications and conducting visual and measurement tests, quality control inspectors mon.itor the operations to ensure they meet the approved systems/ specification

How You Will Contribute

 

  • As part of their daily tasks, quality control inspectors maintain detailed records of the testing that’s been carried out, as well as relevant additional information, and various metrics such as the number of defective products produced each day and Quality control inspectors inspect, test, or measure materials using all internal measurements, as well as operating electronic inspection equipment to ensure that all necessary procedures and products are inspected to a high standard
  • Qualify alternative suppliers in coordination with the direct Manager and the respective Planner/MRO.  Measure supplier’s quality performance and coordinates with Purchasing for supplier’s quality improvements.  
  • Generates reports / data / procedures covering QA/QC related activities as specified in the Company’s quality Systems Operating procedures and Quality manual.  Assist on the development, implementation and maintenance of the overall Quality System and other regulatory requirements.  Develop QA programs like GMP. HACCP, Food Safety, Pest Control etc. Provide relevant trainings to the personnel.
  • Creates vendor notifications and coordinates with Purchasing/Planner for the corrective/preventive action implementations. Ensures the timely monitoring of notifications closure.
  • Creates internal notifications and coordinates with Production/warehouse/quality team for investigate to the corrective/preventive action implementations. Ensures the timely monitoring of notifications closure.
  • Responsible in conducting audits relevant to the GMP and AIB requirements. Prepares the audit findings and discussed with the Operations team.  Provides recommendations for the closure of the findings.
  • Perform other related tasks that maybe assigned from time to time.
  • Develop, involve, and implement the safety awareness in own department including maintaining the safety practice.

 

What you will need to be successful

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sciences or Engineering
  • At least 3 years experiences in quality 
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Knowledge of food safety systems and regulations GMP. HACCP
  • Good communication and strong analytical skill
  • Safety standard knowledge and certification
