Your Focus
As Technical Services Manager, Thailand & Malaysia, you will be driving the technical services in deployment of gut health solutions and related services within the territory for Animal Nutrition. 

 

Champion the gut health solutions and execution of service programs with the guidance from the Regional Technical Services Manager, Sales Leaders and assist in delivering the business goals by achieving annual territory business plan. 

 

You will be working collaboratively across commercial and strategic marketing teams in the region. The role is based in Bangkok, Thailand and will report to the Sales Leader, Thailand & Malaysia. 

 

How You Will Contribute

  • Drive the Gut Health Technical Solutions strategy and provide first level technical service support to Key Accounts and customers, including training to distributors sales team and, on-site technical service, especially in nutritional health area in support of the achievement of the business goals.
  • To actively participate in the Regional Sales Technical & Marketing team collaboration to ensure compliances on products and services offered, establish profile/brand building in gut health space in the industry with institutes and opinion leaders. 
  • Ensure competence of sales team and distributors in technical/product knowledge and generate value of our offerings.
  • Lead effective technical service programs to multiple Nutrition, Live production, Veterinarians operations at customers.  
  • Provide fast, responsive technical support and project management for key customers. 
  • Develop strong relationships with Regional & global marketing/technical/application support groups.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, both internal as well as external (distributors and end customers).
  • Building a strong mindshare for Danisco branded Nutritional Health solutions in feed, farm & integrated segment.
  • Understand market trends/key customer needs to identify new opportunities & proactive in supporting development projects.
  • Proactively update competition landscape and Market intelligence. 

Job Requirements

What you will need to be successful
 

Essential Skills and Experience

  • PhD or Master's Degree in Microbiology, Animal Health, Animal Science or any other relevant discipline.
  • More than 8-10 years Industrial experience in Animal Production or Technical Service role in gut health solutions with strong applied background. Core knowledge in poultry and pig. 
  • Work experience in similar Feed Additive & Animal Nutrition industry environment is desirable.
  • Excellent track record of building strong customer relationships in Animal Nutrition & Animal Health market
  • Willingness to travel more than 50% of working time.
  • Ability to interact at multiple levels in customer organizations, including Owners & Senior Management and Operational level.
  • Competence of sales team & distributors in technical/product knowledge and value selling.
  • Effective in delivering technical service programs especially in Nutritional Health area.
  • Proactive and resilient under challenging situations with strong service aptitude.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with good collaboration with multiple stakeholders (external and internal).
  • Customer satisfaction, both internal as well as external (distributors and end customers). 
  • Open minded. Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks and change focus as demands change.
  • Self-motivated - Initiates appropriate actions and follows through without prompting or close supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
