Our Pharma Solutions Sales team is growing!


IFF Pharma Solutions Business is seeking a Sales Account Representative to manage and grow existing customer sales at selected accounts within Europe. 

Location: Home office. We are flexible with location. 25% travel.  




We will provide training to perform key activities. Your mission will be to manage annual customer sales budgeting, sales forecasting, data management, driving price realization, negotiating contract renewals. In addition, you will support marketing and technical initiatives, building new and strengthening existing customer relationships.


•    You will manage selected customer business in the region and focus on developing project pipeline through SFDC.
•    Build superior customer relationships that can be leveraged to attain higher business share.

•     Ensure maximum account penetration for optimal customer relationships and sales opportunities.
•     Develop relationships with key personnel at pharmaceutical/nutraceutical customers. 
•    Drive annual customer budgeting process.
•      Provide regular accurate forecast demand updates from select customer and develop key account plans.
•    Identify and recommend opportunities for new business sales and link account strategy to the marketing plan, and manufacturing capability.
•     Work effectively with regional and global marketing and technical colleagues
•     Drive the development of account plan which identifies opportunities, risks. 
•     Take leadership role in key negotiation activities with select customers.
•    Drive project development at select accounts and identify business growth targets at select customers within pharmaceutical excipients, API, and nutraceutical, dietary supplement markets  
•     Utilize resources (marketing, technical support) to achieve optimum opportunity conversion  



•    Previous experience of similar roles is not required, although candidates with prior knowledge of sales or business/related functions gained within a business to business (B2B) or business to consumer (B2C) environment is highly desirable. 

•    There will be comprehensive training on our products and technologies in addition to ongoing coaching for the successful candidate. 

•    Candidate should have an ability to travel throughout Europe to visit customer premises and attend internal meetings.
