We are looking for a full time Sales Support colleague located in Denmark (Brabrand or Copenhagen) to provide commercial support to the Northern European Sales team covering the customer base in the Culinary, Snack and Pet Food categories which incorporate the new IFF combined portfolio of flavors and ingredients.  


Your main daily tasks and key responsibilities will be

  • The first point of contact for customers, agents, distributors for questions related to commercial matters, projects and existing business
  • Coordinate all communications between the customer, agent, distributor and IFF departments and ensure timely reply to questions and follow-up on (internal) actions
  • Project management for customers, agents, distributors (loading opportunities into IFF system as accurately and detailed as possible)
  • Liaise with our I C & D and other departments on project progress to ensure that the Account / Sales Manager and the customer/agent/distributor are kept fully up to date
  • Order Management (responsible for the same region) on correct and timely loading of customer orders in SAP
  • Preparing quotes/prices
  • Correct, timely and accurate usage and maintenance of IFF and SAP systems according to the IFF business rules (e.g. pricing, customer master data, product submissions, etc.)
  • Ensuring data integrity
  • Ordering and progress tracking of samples and required documentation
  • Support the Account/Sales Managers with the preparation of customer visits to IFF locations
  • Back-up for the Account/Sales Managers responsible for the same region
  • Full cross category and cross product back-up for all Flavors and Ingredients Sales Support

Job Requirements

  • Fluent in English and Danish (written and verbal), Swedish & Norwegian is a nice to have. Additional language skills are an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and solutions oriented with the ability to interact and coordinate activities with internal support team and customers
  • Customer service oriented
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize to guarantee that all issues are allocated the required time to be handled in a professional manner
  • Ability to learn quickly and work with projects related IT systems

Required Experience

  • Completed commercial vocational training, 3 to 4 year or bachelor’s degree in business studies
  • At least five year’ s experience in a (international) customer service-related position
  • A minimum of 3, preferably 5 years’ experience in a sales service department, QA or related position
  • Significant experience with the use of SAP in a customer service and logistics environment
  • Experience using Office (Word, Excel etc.)
  • Able to handle sensitive/confidential information
