Quality & Food Safety is part of the Global Quality organization, and we service a broad range of IFF’s products and production sites within the Nourish platform in a global work environment. Our team is mainly located in Brabrand, Denmark.

Who we are looking for?

A well-organized and team-oriented colleague, who likes to take up a temporary position (12 months) as Technical Specialist, Product Quality, for our business unit Core Texturants and coordinate varied daily tasks related to our global production sites producing hydrocolloids (carrageenan, guar gum and pectin).

You will participate in the coordination of various tasks to ensure regulatory, technical and customer specific compliance.

Your core responsibilities:

• Handling deviations for products manufactured at our factories.
• Handling of product quality related complaints.
• Coordinate and implement customer-specific requirements. Maintenance of master data in various IT systems, including SAP.
• Create and maintain customer-facing documents, e.g. technical statements.
• Support stakeholders with relevant information (Regulatory Affairs, Product Management, Sales, Application, R&D, etc.).
• Complete and review customer documentation (e.g. questionnaires and specifications) in cooperation with our Technical Information Services team.
• Support our production sites in third-party audits (customer audits, GFSI certification audits, religious audits).
• Participate in New Product Development processes.
• Participate in customer meetings and provide Quality support.
• Ad hoc tasks

Qualifications

You are a dedicated person with a relevant academic background within chemistry, food or dairy or the like. Knowledge/experience within food or food ingredients as well as knowledge about the principles in ISO, HACCP and BRC/FSSC standards will be preferred for this position. Solid microbiological knowledge is also an advantage in this position.

You are a competent user of IT-systems and have experience with Excel-related tasks.

We will prefer candidates that have competences within the Quality & Food Safety area to ensure quick entry into job functions.

You are fluent in both verbal and written English and have good communication skills. Proficiency in Danish will be an advantage but is not a necessity.
