The role is based in our Budapest GSS (hybrid model combining office & remote work). You’ll join a team of agile, customer-focused thinkers who collaboratively solve difficult business problems.

Main responsibilities:

  • Accrue FI invoices
  • Process Standard and Recurring Journal Entry
  • Internal Order Settlement
  • Close and Cut-Off Transaction Processing
  • Open and Close Sub-Ledgers AP / AR / GL
  • Process Local Tax Provisions
  • Process Allocations
  • Process Currency Revaluations
  • Review Cost Centre Expenses
  • Review Regional Preliminary PL
  • Close Financial Ledger
  • Prepare Submission Checklist
  • Transfer and Reconcile GL for Consolidation
  • To lead by example following all requirements, processes, structure while maintaining a can-do mentality 
  • Support the day-to-day operations of the Team while maintaining operational tasks
  • Support in meeting Key Performance Indicators, such as accuracy and timeliness related metrics
  • Proactively escalating to your supervisor and/or the Operation leader on business and performance issues
  • Playing a key role in supporting the supervisor with training and guidance of new joiners
  • Other duties as ordered by the direct manager
  • Working following the Greater Asia time zone (6.00 - 15.00 o’clock)

Job Requirements

  • Excellent English, both verbal and written.
  • Minimal 2 years of relevant experience
  • Must have working knowledge of general accounting procedures and process including GAAP 
  • Great communication skills 
  • A good understanding of general accounting processes
  • University degree
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, with an emphasis on Excel
  • ERP system (SAP ECC) experience advantageous
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining accuracy and providing top notch customer service 
  • Great customer service is essential
  • Team players with a can-do-mentality
  • Critical thinking is a must
