Associate Manager, People Analytics

The Associate Manager, People Analytics will support the Director, People Analytics to deliver data, analytics and insights that support our people and business needs. This will include ensuring the accuracy and integrity of employee data, reporting, and analytics from Workday and other data sources.
 

  • Partner closely with HR Business Partners to build dashboards, analytics & reports for internal customers using Workday reporting tools, excel, PowerPoint, etc. 
  • Distill data related to performance, compensation, diversity, learning, recruiting etc. into actionable metrics.
  • Become an authority on Workday delivered reports to encourage manager and HR self-service, and create custom reports when needed. 
  • Be an expert in all things data and well versed in HR processes – understanding both upstream to downstream impacts. 
  • Support the HR team with ad hoc requests and data/reporting related inquiries. 
  • Conduct discovery activities to understand customer requirements, timeline and scope for business requests to identify the best solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders including HR, Finance, and IT as it relates to data and analytics needs, and connectivity of enterprise-wide systems. 
  • Execute data and report validations to support ongoing quality assurance processes. 
  • Maintain awareness of current trends in Workday Reporting. 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience with data and analytics, including a minimum of 3 years in Workday.
  • Understanding of all areas of Workday Reporting & Analytics including Report Writer, Prism Analytics, Composite Reporting, Calculated Fields, Dashboards, Discovery Boards, and Worksheets in strongly preferred. 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and articulate complex ideas in a simple / straightforward way through words and data visualization that can be presented to management.
  • Ability to partner in a consultative and solutions-oriented way. 
  • Extraordinary attention to detail and passion to use data to drive business decisions. 
  • Ability to use metrics and data analysis to identify and resolve issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team
  • Advanced/Expert proficiency with Excel
  • Strong critical thinking skills so as to understand sophisticated, technical process issues and facilitate/influence decision making
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
