Job Description
- Coordinate with respective Reporting Units worldwide to collect documents and data related to leasing activity such as entering into new leases, extensions, renewals, amendments, terminations, etc.
- Read and interpret lease contracts and related documents to extract data elements relevant to lease accounting and enter into Lease Accelerator, the company’s SAP-based lease accounting system
- Maintain lease data elements and documentation within Lease Accelerator in a complete and accurate manner, including identification missing elements
- Prepare and communicate pro-forma lease accounting journal entries to each of Flowserve’s site locations for local posting each month
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations for lease accounting, including payment clearing accounts · Work with global site locations to resolve significant discrepancies noted during the reconciliation process
- Prepare quarterly lease accounting disclosure reports for the 10-Q and 10-K
- Participate in continuous improvement processes, including identification of needed system modifications, process changes and cost savings opportunities
- Respond to requests from internal and external auditors
- Perform other duties as assigned or directed to ensure the smooth operation of the Centralized Lease Function
- Other duties as ordered by the direct manage
Job Requirements
- Excellent English skills both verbal and written
- Preferred 3-4 years of relevant experience
- Hungarian language knowledge is preferred
- A good understanding of general accounting processes
- Knowledge of accounting standards – primarily ASC842
- Intimate knowledge of Co-Star
- University degree
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, with an emphasis on Excel
- A good understanding of ERP (SAP ECC) system experience advantageous
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining accuracy and providing top
- notch customer service
- Being a team player with a can-do-mentality
- Critical thinking is a must
- Certified Lean Six Sigma is advantageous
