This role will be hybrid (remote and form our office in Massy, France). The Sales Manager reports to the Sales Director France.
Main missions
As a sales manager, you will support and develop the product portfolio of Lucas Meyer Cosmetics by IFF on local key accounts, small and medium-sized accounts. You will be responsible for promoting a portfolio of active and functional cosmetic ingredients throughout France. As such, your mission will be to:
- Build profitable sales by initiating new projects and identifying new customers.
- Establishing a solid network and ensuring optimal relations with customers.
- Work closely with customers to be supportive and helpful while retaining confidentially and implementing agreed product strategies. Provide customer technical support and consultant services to increase our overall value to the customer.
- Liaise with customer service internally to keep up to date with developments regarding open orders, pending samples, quotations, shipment follow up, etc.
- Provide information on competition and market analysis trends.
- Participate in the company's business strategy by providing feedback on market trends, regulatory changes, customer needs, etc.
- On local key accounts, define and implement a long-term business development strategy.
Job Requirements
Qualifications required:
- A minimum 5 years' experience in a technical sales position in the field of cosmetic ingredients
- You have a master degree in science, biology or chemistry (engineer, pharmacist, ..) or Business Administration provided that you have sufficient technical understanding of the cosmetic industry
- You are able to speak fluently French and English
- This position requires frequent travel (up to 50% of working time)
