Specialist – Customer Quality
    
It's an exciting time of growth for IFF, we’re inviting a result driven individual to join our Greater Asia Customer Service  division as Specialist – Customer Quality. 

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced talent with Quality Control specialization to be part of a global Flavours & Fragrances organization!


Your Focus
As Specialist – Customer Quality, you will be responsible for takes on a regional role within the team regarding 1 or more specific responsibilities. Besides performing the normal activities of an Administrator position, the specialist is the SME (Subject Matter Expert) within the team on this topic, provides the training and guidance to the relevant Customer Quality staff in the regional, develops and proposes Regional policies, procedures and tools in line with Global policies, procedures and tools and acts as the Regional representative for his/her specialism in a Global team of peers. These responsibilities fall under the responsibility of the Regional Manager Customer Quality.

You will spend your time… 
•    In providing the training and guidance to the relevant Customer Quality staff in the region, develops and proposes Regional policies, procedures and tools in line with Global policies, procedures and tools and acts as the Regional representative for his/her specialism in a Global team of peers. Independently leads Regional improvement projects and acts as a Regional facilitator for Global improvement projects of the specialism.
•    Loading Master Data for all new products and intermediates during the NPI (New Product Introduction) process related to Quality, Food Safety and Sustainable information as well as maintain this information upon request and as needed. This includes the loading of inspection plans, certificate of analysis (CoA) content and product data sheet content for each product/intermediate released of production or raw materials to be received by and used in production. 
•    Monitoring and resolving of documentation blocks of automated documents in Clover or blocks that prevent the shipment of batches to customers, such as CoA blocks, etc. of a complex nature.
•    Formula reviews, Master Data reviews and Customer Communication reviews for the purpose of E&R (Eliminate & Replace) process where decisions are made whether proposed Formula changes can be done without breaching the commitments made to the customer or in case of no other option take measures to communicate with the customer to agree on the changed information on previously communicated documentation.
•    Review of Religious data and nutritional data for new raw material approval or approval of a existing raw material from a new vendor to determine whether the materials are compliant with the requirements from the customer, IFF internal requirements and in comparison with what is already in the IFF databases not significantly different that would warant communication with customers for amendment of previously shared information.
•    Maintaining vendor documentation and information regarding raw materials and manufacturing sties to ensure this information is available for internal processes as well as customer responses.

Job Requirements

What you will need to be successful
Education & Essential Experience
•    Bachelors degree in science, engineering or other relevant discipline (preferrably: chemical or food science). 
•    2-3 years as a Administrator, Customer Quality, while having proven skills in all Customer Quality responsibilities and superior skills in assigned specialism.
•    Strong technical writing experience strongly preferred (good conversational English required). 
•    Excellent Interpersonal & Communication skills.
•    Reasonable knowledge in Microsoft Office skills, SAP QM Module, 
•    Project Management skills and Basic Leadership Skills
•    Good Administrator in Customer Quality function through engagement in team meetings, own small scale projects and participating in larger projects.
