Facility & Maintenance Manager

Job Description

We are currently seeking to appoint a Facility & Maintenance Manager at our site in Dandenong South. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role requires you to ensure the timely repairs and maintenance of the site, including control of external contractors while maintaining the budget.

Key responsibilities will include:

Engineering and Maintenance

• Management of engineering maintenance team who provide engineering resources to maintain plant and equipment including reactive maintenance and plant upgrade where required.
• Budgeting and cost management of engineering department.
• Development, maintenance, and execution of the Preventive Maintenance program.
• Management of all engineering and maintenance as required.
• Engineering, maintenance, and site service purchasing.
• Selection of suitable external contractors to maintain plant and equipment to IFF standards.

Site Services

• Manage site grounds.
• Manage environmental and utility contract services and monitor usages.
• Ensure compliance of all site equipment to quality and regulatory standards.
• Manage uniform requirements for all employees.
• Manage system development (e.g. plant coding and security database).
• Assist with change management.
• Ensure compliance within trade to relevant standards including accuracy on current documentation.
• Responsible for all contractor inductions.
• Management of cleaning contract as per schedule.
• Management of site security.

To be successful in this role:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in site services
• Excellent written and verbal English communication
• Time management and the ability to priorities
