Summary & purpose of the job:

In charge of several million Euros sales on the French market, you work in the Nourish BU of IFF, report to the Category Sales Leader South Europe, Confectionery & Bars and are also active in fruit preparations and pet food. You will also coordinate sales of French sites for a Global Key Account. You create and sustain successful partnerships with IFF key accounts in France – all part of the food industry - and deliver profitable sales growth by matching their needs.

Roles & responsibilities :

  • Meet or exceed financial metrics; drive for results (top and bottom line).
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) of assigned customers representing them within IFF.
  • Understand customer strategy, brands, potentials and how IFF will deliver value to their business.
  • Deeply understand IFF’s organization, capabilities, proprietary technologies, resources, product and service offerings.
  • Position IFF as a trusted partner by co-creating winning value propositions that satisfy customers’ needs.
  • Identify customer needs aligned with IFF solutions.
  • Maximize profit levers under commercial control (e.g. prices).
  • Create, present and professionally execute strategic account plans aligning with Global, Regional and Sub-Regional business objectives. Keep them updated for relevancy.
  • Be the face of IFF - Primary contact for customers, maintain and improve IFF’s position and image. Develop deep customer relationships at all levels through intensive networking and providing best in class customer service.
  • Identify/create new business opportunities for IFF and develop, adapt and execute strategies to generate new sales.
  • Accountable for accurate sales forecasts periodically as well as projects status.
  • Prepare sales reports and new business activity for IFF Management
  • Keep close collaboration with Global Key Account team to implement Global account strategy in France

Experience and education :

  • 4+ years of sales experience preferably in business-to-business with the food industry.
  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Management, Sales or Marketing, Food Science or Chemistry.
