Analyst I (Quality Control)

Job Description;

For IFF Quality team in our Gebze site, we are seeking an Analyst I.

Responsibilities;

• Preparation of samples, chromatographic and wet chemical analysis, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting, laboratory maintenance,
• To complete analysis, separation and quantitation (GC) and identification (GC-MS) of samples and extracts,
• Method development, equipment maintenance and operation of equipment and laboratory maintenance,
• Coordination of analytical activities (raw material and finished product testing), to ensure analysis meet department agreed KPI’s,
• Load the inspection results to SAP Quality Module,
• Perform detailed investigations into internal and external non-conformance, including root cause and preventative actions,
• Maintain quality & standards of the Company within lab,
• Follow up calibration of equipment,
• Ordering laboratory operating supplies,
• To follow safety rules of the company.

 
Job Requirements;
 

• (BS/MS) Degree in Organic and Analytical Chemistry,
• 2-3 year applying analytical skills in the flavour & fragrance, food or pharma industry,
• Practical experience of sample preparation techniques,
• Experienced in GC and GC/MS techniques and with MS interpretation,
• PC literate - MS Office applications and SAP QM Module,
• Good knowledge of English,
• Must have strong multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills,
• Able to work within a shift if it's needed,
• Residence in Asian side or close to Gebze.
