Job Description

The ServiceNow HR Systems Administrator is a new, key position in the IFF HR Shared Service Center (HR SSC), a service organization that provides HR services to employees and managers throughout the organization. This position is the point of contact within the HR SSC for the enabling service center technology, ServiceNow.  You will be responsible for providing information to all necessary stakeholders regarding system testing, updates and changes. You will provide technology services and resolve incidents including system failures and IT related end-user issues.

 

Strategic:

  • Collaborate with HR SSC and IFF IT leadership to develop and execute overall HR SSC technology strategic plan
  • Ensure all relevant procedural/ legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality and cost-effective service to customers.
  • Identify and incorporate leading practices and innovative approaches and tools for HR SSC operations.
Job Requirements

Operational:

  • Point of contact for technical support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow system issues.
  • Gather and translate business needs into requirements for enabling service center technology (ServiceNow); collaborate with HR SSC resources to understand business needs and implement technology enhancements.
  • Lead user acceptance testing on new enhancements.
  • Maintain the environment for the ServiceNow knowledge, content and case management solution.
  • Conduct training for new and existing users and for implemented system changes.
  • Lead troubleshooting and diagnosing enabling technology issues.
  • Maintain organization-wide communication to ensure prompt incident resolution for technology issues.
  • Perform scheduled technology audits and report findings to Service Excellence Director.
  • Facilitate and provide support for any new application or enhancement of ServiceNow.
  • Configure ServiceNow forms (edit existing forms, add new field, create new workflows, etc.)
Long Description

People Management & Knowledge:

  • Supervise ServiceNow support staff within the HR SSC
  • Monitor performance of ServiceNow support team against pre-determined measures and standards; provide effective and timely feedback to enhance employee performance.
  • Create, foster and maintain a collaborative, inclusive, innovative and customer-focused team culture.
  • Coordinate closely with HR SSC leadership team to provide HR SSC employees with opportunities for cross training, rotational programs and career progression within the HR SSC.
  • Deep knowledge of (HR) IT systems and applications; understanding of IT infrastructure and configurations.
  • Awareness of current ServiceNow best practices and ongoing knowledge of latest features.
  • Working knowledge of desktop productivity software applications to provide desktop support.
  • Knowledge of basic call/service center operating models and service delivery.
  • Knowledge of case management, document management and knowledge management design and development.
  • Strong working knowledge of the following ServiceNow components: Service Catalog, Change/Incident/Problem Management, Asset Management, CMDB, Knowledge, Release Management, etc.
Long Description

Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related technical discipline.
