IFF is seeking a highly motivated and results driven individual to join our Scent Business as Senior Account Manager in Vietnam.

Your Focus

Responsible for driving sustainable profitable sales and market share growth by identifying the customer needs & opportunities, establishing solid customer relationships, leading, coordinating and reporting IFF activities and promoting relevant solutions aligned with the corporate strategy.

Job Requirements

How you will contribute

  • Ensure financial targets are met and business performance is constantly monitored and reported.
  • Build and nurture relationships with the customer. Establish strong customer engagement, answering day-to-day requests and build drumbeat of topics to address opportunities and requirements.
  • Cooperate with the internal team to leverage IFF’s capability and creation, and win projects where we are in.
  • Support the cross-category innovation workshop and digital business events for our target customers.
  • Partner with Operations team to ensure customer satisfaction in terms of service, quality, and supply chain.
     

What you will need to be successful

Experience:

  • Approximately 5-7 years of experience in sales, business development, or marketing preferably fragrance, chemical or ingredients industries. At least 3 years in sales role in mentioned industries.
  • Strong track record at a similar level with a passion to succeed in a commercial role.

Skills:

  • Customer-centric with B2B management experience
  • Strong interest in product development, consumers, and market understanding especially in fabric care and body care market (Marketing/R&D/CI)
  • Sound fragrance knowledge and olfactive skills or daily chemical knowledge, where applicable
  • Creative, agile and innovative thinking
  • Project management with effective collaboration and orchestration skills
  • Good communication, presentation, storytelling, and negotiation skills
  • Understanding of digital marketing and ecommerce environment
  • Ability to gather and leverage competitive market intelligence
  • Fluent English in both written and spoken.

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree
