Your Focus

As Internal Controls Specialist based out of our Finance Shared Service Center in Hyderabad, India, you will be responsible for effective and efficient performance of the Reporting team. You will distribute accurate and timely reporting, metrics and internal control reports as needed for the function globally.

The role will report to AR & Credit Operations Manager.

How You Will Contribute

• Establish reporting requirements and expectations with stakeholders, working with them to identify any issues or concerns and develop solutions to address them.
• Define metrics and KPIs to be tracked and reported on a regular basis.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of the data used for reporting.
• Develop and distributes reports to stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls framework and regulatory requirements.
• Investigate and reports any internal control breaches or issues.
• Reconcile accounts and transactions on a regular basis, establishing and maintaining a reconciliation process to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Provide accurate and timely reports on reconciliation results to stakeholders, developing solutions to resolve any reconciliation issue.
• Identify opportunities and recommends improvements, focusing on efficiency, productivity & quality.

Job Requirements

What you will need to be successful

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, MBA or any other relevant discipline.
• Atleast 4 – 6 years of experience AR, credit, finance and/or accounting.
• Solid understanding of the systems used in the various sub-processes
• Strong understanding and focus on internal controls requirements.
• Proven expertise with SAP is a must.
• Strong customer focus skills.
• Lean / Six Sigma Certification is considered a plus.
• Well versed with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
• Ability to effectively influence and motivate others
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and a changing environment.
