IFF is a global leader in food, beverage, health, biosciences and sensorial experiences. We are now seeking a highly motivated and results driven individual to join our Finance function as MIS Specialist.


Your Focus

 

As MIS Specialist at our Finance Shared Service Center in Hyderabad, India, you will be responsible for acquiring data from various ERP sources (esp SAP), creating reports on a regular basis and circulating to Finance leadership team for effective decision making leading to improved processes.


The role reports to Operations Manager.

 

How you will contribute

  • Strong knowledge of SAP ERP instances with an ability to navigate across various tables to compile meaningful process data
  • Excellent ability in using MS Office Suit including VBA Scripting and MS Access database for simplified reporting and visualization
  • Experience in project management and troubleshooting skills.
  • Working knowledge and Strong inclination to learn analytical tools and data visualization software’s such as Power BI, Tableau etc
  • Perceptual and analytical problem-solving abilities relating to data analysis and identifying performance trends
  • Experience in System testing including participation in BIT & USAT.
  • Directly liaisons with the Management team in showcasing department performance metrics and identifying improvement opportunities
  • Ability to use Quality Tools such as benchmarking, gap analysis, Pareto analysis, fish- bone diagrams, and process mapping for fact base decisions making.
  • Ability to consolidate the process metrics and publish performance dashboards with trend analysis identifying key improvement areas.
  • Capable of analyzing data in order to support the development of strategies to effectively manage the action plans that will resolve the issues.
  • Strong Internal Control mindset with an ability to identify the gaps and suggest remediation efforts
  • Knowledge of international regulations like US GAAP, SOX guidelines etc.
  • Demonstrate strong customer orientation and service mindedness
  • Ability to communicate both written and orally, to all levels of management and across different functions
  • Communicate with various stakeholders across Source to Pay processes to simplify and streamline the value chain
  • Administer and communicates policies and procedures which apply to invoice processing and related areas.

Job Requirements

What you will need to be successful 

  • Master’s or Bachelor Degree in Commerce, MBA in Finance
  • At least 2-4 years’ relevant experience with a professional BPO or Shared Service Centre environment 
  • Good communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Sound knowledge of MS Excel, VBA & MS Access
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
  • Trained in Lean Six Sigma technology - preferably a yellow/green belt
  • Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI.
  • Knowledge of SAP 4.6, SAP ECC 6, S/4 HANA
  • Good analytical skills
  • Good decision making and managing for productivity
  • Ability to gather and present pertinent information
  • Flexibility to operate in shifts
