We are now seeking a highly motivated and results driven individual to join our growing Digital Operations team as Machine Learning Ops Engineer!


Your Focus
As Machine Learning Ops Engineer at our Shared Service Center in Hyderabad, India, you will support our data scientists on model deployment and ML sustainability. Also, you will ensure that optimal machine learning pipelines are consistent throughout ongoing projects.


You will create sustainable ML solutions using state of the art methods for all parts of the ML life-cycle. From automatic data ingestion and preprocessing, through modeling and deploying models using scalable solutions. With your help we will be able to monitor data drifts, constantly monitor model metrics and raise alerts to automatically retrain the models.


The role reports to Data Science Manager.

 

How you will contribute

  • You were earlier pipeline builder and data wrangler who enjoyed optimizing data systems and building them from the ground up. This serves you as strong basis for identifying data solutions, writing ETL-processes, troubleshooting process and code.
  • Support our teams on streamlining their works involving Kubernetes, Code Repository, Code Review, Democratization of Code as well as following up on implemented digital products and their next development.
  • Experience in working with other ML Ops engineers, data engineers and data scientist, has a strong understanding of the digital product development in an Agile environment.
  • Maintain a clear vision for what is required for maturing and successfully sustaining the digital products in the longer term.
  • Translate business requirements into design specifications and code, where you are responsible for writing programs and executing ad hoc queries.
  • Support internal clients and quickly gain enhanced understanding of business functions and informational needs.
  • Keep yourself up to speed with the latest industry and technology development and can apply them to solve analytical challenges.
  • Fluent in conducting training sessions on tools, data sources, and architecture.
  • Provide job aids and mentoring to team members and business users.
  • Qualify data as made available by our digital team by our strong data infrastructure.
  • Give insights on development of data/ML structure and introduce good practices in order to achieve ML sustainability.
  • Deploy Machine Learning models 
  • Build, test, deploy and maintain data pipelines and Machine Learning models in systematic, automated and scalable approach.
  • Monitor models and their predictions.
  • Collaborate with data scientist and Engineers.
  • Document the work done and facts established.

Job Requirements

What you will need to be successful

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Engineering.
  • Open to all industry, Banking, Supply Chain and eCommerce welcome to apply.
  • At least 2-4 years prior experience in Data Science, Data Engineering or calibration of Machine Learning Operation.
  • Experience in working with Python, large datasets, Historians, relational databases (SQL).
  • Experience in model scalable deployment, must have knowledge in Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of good practices connected to building sustainable ML model pipelines (from data processing to deployment and monitoring).
  • Must have knowledge of containers/docker, CI/CD, automated testing.
  • Experience improving performance of units and systems (covering such as chemical reactors, boilers, compressors, chillers, cooling towers & steam/condensate systems).
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proficient in English both verbal and written.
  • Positive attitude with zeal to learn new things.
