Your Focus


As Sales Manager, you will manage a number of Regional and local accounts. The role will be part of Global account team to drive category sales for Indonesia, with the goal to ensure growth and business wins. The role will see you effectively collaborate with Operations, Innovation, Creation & Design (I,C&D) and Marketing teams. 


This position is Indonesia based and will report into, Category Sales Leader.

 

How You Will Contribute

 

  • Achieve profitable sales growth targets by winning new business and maintaining current sales accounts
  • Manage quotes and pricing negotiations, optimize order patterns, provide accurate sales forecasts. 
  • Maintain the project pipeline and all information related to the projects and opportunities
  • Build and manage relationship with customer/accounts, organize customer visit/workshop, and keep customer up to date on project progress
  • Initiate Innovation and Proactive activities relate to product promotion to respective accounts referring to market dynamic and company’s capability.
  • Accountable for all communications between the customer and internal stakeholders (Customer Service, Operations, Commercial, I,C&D) on order delivery timeline, specifications, and all matters related to legal and quality
  • Take ownership in driving sales project across Commercial Support, Technical and Marketing support team to ensure sales and business goals are delivered.

Job Requirements

 

What you will need to be successful

 

  • Bachelor’s degree qualification in Food Science, Food Technology or any other relevant industry.
  • At least 7 years experience in sales and account management in the flavors or ingredients industry. Ideally well connected in the industry.
  • Proven track record in sales accounts development, creating and delivering strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Comfortable working in a B2B environment with a positive, self-driven or action-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to interact across levels in customer organizations, including Owners & Senior Management team.
  • Strong and effective communication skill in English, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in Ms. Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Access)
  • Excellent presentation skills for sales or brand concept delivery to senior stakeholders
  • Ability to influence and be a strong negotiator
  • High drive and self-motivated, positive mindset and a great team player
  • Willingness to travel.
