Your Focus
The Mechanical Engineer reports to Engineering Manager and be responsible for the repairs and maintenance (Mechanical discipline) of all facilities and equipment to meet statutory requirement and Quality specifications in accordance to the GMP, HACCP standards.  This position will manage external contractors for various repair and maintenance services.

 

How You Will Contribute
•    Monitors contractor performance and works closely with outside vendors and contractors to ensure work is completed according to specifications 
•    Perform facilities system troubleshooting or Preventive Maintenance, analysis equipment breakdowns and introduce preventive measures.  
•    Handle operation and maintenance of various mechanical systems & services (like, CDA, WWTP, PCW, Exhaust, Nitrogen, DI, Chillers, HVAC, AHU boiler, etc.)
•    To assure continuous reliability of the facilities systems to achieve zero interruption to production.
•    Implement, Schedule and plan Preventive/Predictive Maintenance (PM), and Repair Maintenance activities as accordingly
•    Ensure the Computerize Maintenance Management systems are maintained
•    Participate actively in key project such as Capital Projects, cost reduction &, system improvement projects.
•    To observe and abide to all Statutory requirement 
•    Assists with maintaining building security and immediately responds to building emergencies on a 24-hour basis
•    Practice Good Manufacturing principles and comply at all times to GMP, Quality Control, NSF, Food Safety, HACCP, Safety and Legislative requirements
•    Performs other duties as assigned. Duties will vary according to the project progress and/or the specific goals of the division
•    Train and lead Technicians

What you will need to be successful
•    Degree in Mechanical 
•    With 3 to 5 years of working experience in the similar or manufacturing industry.
•    Knowledge in using Computer preferably Microsoft office tools
•    Project Management skill
•    Good written and verbal communication skill in English.
•    Proactive with ability to work with team
•    Experience in CMMS, ASME, piping fabrication, Code of practice, Predictive Maintenance method as added advantage
