Job Description

The Learning & Development Specialist is crucial to ensuring the T&OD function enables IFF’s people development agenda. In this capacity, the person will work closely with the Director of Learning & Development while liaising with senior stakeholders across IFF’s corporate functions and business units.

 

The position is a maternity cover for the period 1st of August 2024 to 1st of August 2025.  

 

Main Responsibilities

Manage unification of digital enablement tools

  • Oversee the enablement platform to facilitate customer-centric collaboration and knowledge sharing across functions and divisions.
  • Collaborate with external vendor and internal stakeholders (IT, HR, product teams, marketing, applications, and divisions) to define the scope and breadth of systems harmonization to support enhanced value positioning and customer experience that drives sales.
  • Define the governance strategy for enablement tools, including the contract/licensing management, IT scope, user governance, support, reporting structure, learning governance, and alignment with CRM.
  • Establish and monitor the feedback loop with stakeholders for continuous improvement plans that enhance the learning experience from enablement resources.
  • Bring supportive leadership to encourage a positive, energetic, and inclusive team environment.

 

Support talent onboarding and upskilling: 

  • Oversee and execute the onboarding projects for new to IFF talent by implementing system automation, communication flows, learning path assignments, manager support, and tracking time to value.
  • Manage upskilling projects for internal transfer candidates, administering the development journey for business unit cohorts and tracking track time to readiness.

 

Direct communication effectiveness 

  • Manage and collaborate with colleagues to maintain and establish the Commercial Training Calendar.
  • Facilitate the automation and user experience flow for the newsletter, registration, attendance link, session participation, and feedback collection.
  • Drive the adoption of digital assets, including training programs, calculators, and other sales enablement resources/systems.
  • Monitor the enablement processes to identify communication gaps and remedies.
  • Contribute analysis of participant feedback and reports to support program adaptions and amendments.
  • Create and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics to measure behavioral change, acceptance, adoption, and continuous improvement.

Desired experience and qualifications

  • 5+ years of work experience in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Experience working with food, beverage, and scent ingredient companies is ideal.
  • A proven record of exceptional organizational and communication skills with a change project.
  • Demonstrates a passion for digital enablement tools to empower customer-facing roles to be successful.
  • Experience working with Salesforce and Showpad.
  • Content and training calendar planning and managing skills.
  • Experience in navigating multinational and global matrix organization environments.
  • Excellent decision-making quality and conflict management.
  • Results-oriented with excellent project management skills.
  • Clear and assertive communication skills.
  • Proficiency with working and communicating in English.

 

Required education background:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or relevant field 

 

Job Location:

  • Hybrid work: remote and on-site (Brabrand or Copenhagen) – number of days remote/on-site to be defined.
  • Availability for a few regional travels during the year
