Job Description:

You will provide a strong knowledge base and market insights to our customers.  An up-to-date knowledge of the IFF Health product portfolio would be helpful in this position. This position is open to be remote.

Success in this role will be achieved by the following:

•    A solid understanding of the industry trends in the dietary supplements market
•    Develop a thorough knowledge of the full range of IFF Health product offerings 
•    Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities 
•    Manage the sales pipeline and pricing in Salesforce
•    Develop and implement a customer strategy
•    Build and Manage solid relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders, both externally and internally
•    Participate in local associations and trade organizations where applicable
•    Provide technical/application information to customers in collaboration with our innovations and technical groups
•    Interact continuously with regional leadership, product line managers and Innovations and Applications leaders.
•    Maintain a resilient can-do mentality and drive actions to deliver on customer expectations
•    Participate in regional sales meetings and external customer/industry events.  
•    Participate in all key performance management activities - goal setting, Employee Development Plans, performance reviews, etc.

This position reports directly to the North American Sales Director

Job Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in food science, nutrition, microbiology or related science
•    Minimum 2 years of experience in the food or nutraceutical industry preferred
•    Up-to-date knowledge of the dietary supplement ingredients preferred
•    Self-motivated with a customer centric mindset
•    Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
