Job Requirements

The Production Process Operator  is responsible for accomplishing daily production tasks as a member of the Madison Manufacturing team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this position successfully, the candidate should be able to perform the following tasks including, but not limited to:
•    Operate, maintain, and clean manufacturing equipment on multiple production lines to meet or exceed established production goals cost-effectively.
•    Follow safety guidelines and regulatory requirements 
•    Prepare accurate written records via established Good Documentation Practices.
•    Understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices for the care, handling, and storage of food and dietary supplement products.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
•    High School Diploma/GED
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills
•    The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
•    Basic math and computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
•    Ability to read, comprehend, and follow oral & written procedures and instructions
•    Willing and able to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, as needed

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
•    Knowledgeable about safe food handling and Good Manufacturing Practices
•    Previous experience with HACCP, food safety, and general quality procedures
 

Working Conditions
Work will be performed in a safe, modern, well maintained plant environment. Will be expected to wear provided personal protective equipment.
