Animal Nutrition of IFF Health and Biosciences, pioneered the development, use of enzymes, betaine, probiotics and phytogenic solutions  in animal nutrition industry. We are looking for a result oriented and passionate individual to join our Animal Nutrition, Health & Bioscience team as Sales Manager, Animal Health SEA.


Your Focus

As Sales Manager, Animal Health SEA, you will be tasked to develop sound strategic execution plan in driving growth in gut health solutions for livestock industry in the territory and to achieve the business goals for gut health in annual territory business plan. You will champion the gut health solutions and execution of Sales and Service programs per the guidance of SEA Sales Director, Regional Marketing and Regional Technical Sales Manager. 


This is a Manila, Philippines based role, reporting into Sales Director SEA, Animal Nutrition & Health. 


How You Will Contribute

  • Develop execution plan of existing products and solutions by mapping marketing plan, competitive analysis, understanding of market and customers’ needs.
  • To work closely with internal stakeholders (Commercial & Technical teams) to create market and customer plans to deploy Health solutions for the achievement of the business goals.
  • To actively collaborate with the Regional Sales, Technical and Marketing teams to ensure compliances on products and services offered, establish profile and brand building in Health space in the industry with institutes and opinion leaders. 
  • Develop product and technical competencies within Sales team and Distribution channels to  generate value of our offerings.
  • Effective engagement plan to deploy technical service program to multiple stakeholders in live production, vet operations at customers.  
  • Collaborative and effective communication and leadership to drive local Commercial and Technical teams in delivering proactive and responsive support and project managements to key customers. 
  • Strong relationships with Regional and Global Marketing, Technical, Application Support groups.
  • Customer satisfaction, both internal as well as external (distributors and end customers) 
  • Building a strong mindshare for AN Nutritional Health solution in feed, farm & integrated segments
  • Understand market trends or key customer needs to identify new opportunities and proactive in supporting development projects. 
  • Proactively update competition landscape and Market intelligence. 

Job Requirements

What you will need to be successful


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Nutrition, Animal Science, Biology, Microbiology, Veterinary Science or related fields with a Business Management education in Agriculture Business.
  • More than 5-10 years Industrial experience in Feed Additives in the capacity of Business Development or Commercial role in Health or Gut Health Additives business is preferred. 
  • Excellent track record of building strong customer relationships in Feed and Animal Nutrition and Health market.
  • Successful track record of transforming concepts into sustainable business growth.
  • Ability to convert market trends or customer needs into knowledge and opportunities.
  • Competence of Sales Team and Distributors in technical or product knowledge and value selling.
  • Open minded. Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks and change focus as demands change; Aptitude for conflict management.
  • Ability to interact at multiple levels in customer organizations, including Owners & Senior Management and Operational level.
  • Self-motivated and independent - Initiates appropriate actions and follows through without prompting or close supervision.
  • Collaborative – work closely with multiple internal stakeholders – Regional Sales, Marketing, Technical and Application teams to leverage and execute growth plans
  • Strong interpersonal skills & networking capability.
  • Proven selling and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel more than 50% of working time.
