Lucas Meyer Cosmetics is seeking a passionate and result-driven individual to join our team as Regional Marketing Manager, EMEA. - Lucas Meyer Cosmetcs

As Regional Marketing Manager, you are responsible for supporting the EMEA Sales team in planning and deploying the marketing strategy with the support of 2 direct reports. You are a multi-tasked self-starter with scientific knowledge, creative thinking expertise, and extreme organization and communication skills. You are responsible for driving marketing growth and outreach in the key territories deploying the marketing plan aligned with global strategy.
 
This position will require technical knowledge, influencing skills and strong business acumen as you will bridge product knowledge with specific market needs in alignment with the Sales Director and your sales peers. You will deliver technical presentations and customized initiatives to local customers and multinationals. With your local marketing team, you will lead the region’s communication initiatives and organize engaging customer and distributor events to leverage our visibility, our innovative solutions and strengthen customer relations.  The role will provide good daily exposure to challenges in a fast-moving environment.
 
This is a France-based position and as part of the Global marketing team, you will report directly to the Global Marketing Manager based in Canada. This is also a hybrid remote position: 2-day office, 3-day home office. 
 

How you will contribute

• Familiarize with our portfolio and the Regional market dynamics, becoming the trusted expert to peers, sales, distributors, and customers.
• Collaborate with the sales team in the deployment of the sales strategy in EMEA and lead the regional marketing implementation.
• Manage the local team priorities and deliveries
• Monitor the market dynamics, innovations and industry regulations.
• Organize local tradeshows, seminars and networking events with the support of your local/global marketing teams.
• Customize content and presentations on key customers’ demands, from market trends to storytelling leveraging our science and innovation.
• Increase brand outreach by developing and implementing marketing communication initiatives and tools, with the support of your local/global marketing teams.
• Provide technical support and answer technical questions about our portfolio.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team across the company and teams across functions such as Product Line Managers, Legal, Formulation and R&D.
• Provide technical training to sales, distributors and customers.
• Lead the development of marketing concepts and promotional tools to differentiate our portfolio.
   

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Pharmaceutical Sciences or Chemistry, with a business acumen background.
• A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in the Personal Care or Cosmetics Ingredients industry in Marketing or Technical related roles.
• Strong familiarity with the cosmetics industry customers, associations, tradeshows, media and events.
• Pro-active, independent and motivated to achieve.
• Attention to detail and highly organized.
• A negotiator who daily makes smart decisions on prioritization and projects.
• Collaborative and team player, at the same time as results-driven.
• Also a team builder with a positive attitude and resilience
• Communicate effectively, influence and engage others, 
• Capable of multitasking and adapting to changing priorities.
• Fully competent in written and verbal communication in English and French with strong presentation and influencing skills.
• Willing and able to travel up to 20% or more.
• Creative and passionate about Cosmetics Science.
