Sharp-PS®, the world leading phosphatidylserine brand, is one of IFF Health’s high growth products.  We are currently looking for a Global Product Line Manager (GPLM) to drive continued double-digit year-on-year growth, and we hope it's you!

 

As a Global Product Line Manager you will have global accountability for the success of the Sharp-PS® product line.

This comprises the strategy for Sharp-PS® and execution thereof, including product development, asset- and portfolio management, pricing, guidance to commercial teams, regulatory- and competitive positioning.

(S)he reports to the SBU leader Bioscience, HMO and Infat.

 

As a successful candidate yo should have a solid track record in product management, business development, marketing or related experience. (S)he should have a scientific background and be able to  work successfully with the regional product managers as well as different functions, being R&D, sales, manufacturing, business development, marketing and supply chain

 

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, update and implement the Sharp-PS® strategy and 5-year plan with all relevant stakeholders

  • Optimize product portfolio and pricing in collaboration with the regional product managers

  • Find and develop growth opportunities based on market intelligence, future trends, sales and customer feedback

  • Drive product launches in collaboration with R&D, manufacturing, regulatory, Health category mgmt., business development and marketing

  • Collaborate closely with operations to ensure timely capacity expansion is available to support growth plans

  • Work with regional sales leaders to ensure yearly budget and monthly outlooks are both challenging and realistic

  • Act as a business owner and step in where and as needed, f.e. in case of quality or regulatory issues, to achieve overall business success

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Hold a master’s degree within business, economics, science or engineering, or have gained similar expertise through work experience

  • 10+ years of professional work experience, including 5+ years in a relevant role

  • Demonstrated experience in planning, budgeting, and developing business strategy

  • Has business acumen and have a track record in getting investment and/or business cases approved

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization

  • Ideally has a scientific background and/or experience in dietary supplements; must have a strong interest in science
