Your Focus
As Distribution Requirements Planner, you will interface with multiple functional partners to support business and profitability to IFF.

The role is Mumbai based and will report to Customer Service Manager.

How you will contribute

• Analyze demand during lead time (daily), identify abnormal demand patterns and verify causes with our sales/marketing team and demand.
• Determine the SKU inventory levels, locations, and safety stocks by customer/warehouse to support the desired level of customer service while maintaining cost effective levels of inventory.
• Pull FINI material requirements into the region of sales based on local/regional demand plans and sales history.
• Accountable for master data set-up for material management in the assigned warehouses.
• Execute standard availability to promise date for customer delivery (imported products only) based on lead times and communicates changes to Customer Service.
• Manage Inventory levels and Health – be accountable for Non-Productive Inventory, and proactive shelf-life monitoring.
• Manage supply issues during times of short supply.
• Analyze customer SKU order demand patterns, collaborate with the Marketing/Product Manager, Sales Representatives and Demand Planner to validate the forecast of demand by customer/warehouse for each SKU.
• Monitor the appropriate metrics, and conduct root cause analysis and take appropriate corrective actions to address interregional supply issues. 

Job Requirements

What you will need to be successful

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, Finance or any other relevant discipline.
• Atleast 3 – 4 years of experience in manufacturing, customer service, sales or production planning role.
• Proven expertise with SAP is a must.
• Experience working in Salesforce will be an added advantage.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
• APICS Module I (Basics of Supply Chain Management) training and Lean Six Sigma Certification is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Team player who enjoys working in a team, but who can also push forward topics alone and independently.
• Competent and proactive communication with different target groups and stakeholders.

The Pharma Solutions business will be taking on its next chapter of growth as a trusted partner for the pharmaceutical industry with the announcement to sell Pharma Solutions to Roquette. This move will position Pharma Solutions to expand its industry leadership through continued investment in innovation to meet the evolving needs of pharmaceutical manufacturers and developers worldwide.
The sale is presently expected to close in the first half of 2025, pending regulatory approvals and other closing conditions. The Pharma Solutions business unit will remain a part of IFF until close and, at such time, it will transition to Roquette.
