IFF Health is a global leader in probiotics, fibers, and naturals (herbal extracts and botanicals) for the nutraceutical industry.  We are currently expanding our Sales Team to answer the increasing demand for our industry leading natural products in the dietary supplements.

As Global Strategic Account Manager, you would have the responsibility to acquire new accounts as well as develop and manage the account strategy and commercial relationship for the assigned global accounts in the Dietary Supplement and Consumer Health industry. You will manage all aspects of the selling process, developing key relationships at the customer throughout all levels & functions as well as with key influencers. You must have the skills to develop a deep understanding of the customer’s business and identify opportunities to grow.


In this position you will manage and execute the following activities: 


• Be accountable for the account strategy, action plan, and development program pipeline required to grow or expand the business ;
• Develop a deep understanding of the customer’s business and growth objectives ;
• Be strategic: maintain and develop a long-term pipeline, innovation objectives and deliverables to deliver growth in coordination with BU Functions and the regions ;
• Drive and meet sales and profit goals for the global strategic account ;
• Manage and build relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders at the customer and within IFF ;
• Be accountable for the global account managing process. Ensure broad coordination and resource deployment to achieve growth goals ;
• Serve as a role model to others; provide coaching to extended account team ;
• Acquire new accounts in the Dietary Supplement and Consumer Health space.

Required Skills and Experience


• Proven Business development and/or Key Account management experience in the Dietary Supplement and Consumer Health field in large global organizations ;
• Solid commercial background and strong demonstrated competency in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development roles with 10+ years of experience in a global organization ;
• Deep understanding of business growth processes and portfolio management in the consumer health industry ;
• Preferably a double technical & business University degree in a relevant area ;
• This position would be preferably based in France, Belgium, or the Netherlands with possibility for home office several days per week ;
• Fluent in English, French would be a plus. 30%+ travel time.
