Our Pharma Solutions Sales team is growing!

 

IFF Pharma Solutions Business is seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager to manage and grow existing customer sales within France and Europe. A candidate for this role should have experience of sales/business or project development gained within the pharmaceutical or nutraceutical market, experience with CRM software applications project pipeline development, be 
comfortable working as part of a larger regional sales team or independently when necessary.    

 

Location: Home office in France. We are flexible with location. 

 

Your mission will be to manage selected customer business in the region and focus on developing project pipeline through SFDC. You will build superior customer relationships that can be leveraged to attain higher business share. In this role, you will ensure maximum account penetration for optimal customer relationships and sales opportunities.
 

Your responsibilities:

 

•    You will manage annual customer sales budgeting.
•    Drive price realization.
•    Negotiate contract renewals and supporting marketing and technical initiatives,
•    You will be building new and strengthening existing customer relationships and regular monthly forecasts.
•     Develop relationships with key personnel at pharmaceutical/nutraceutical customers 
 
-Account planning and management:


•    Drive annual customer budgeting process.
•    Provide regular accurate forecast demand updates from select customer.
•    Develop key account plans.

 

-Working collaboratively:


•    Identify and recommend opportunities for new business sales.
•    Link account strategy to the marketing plan, and manufacturing capability
•    Work effectively with regional and global marketing and technical colleagues   
•    Drive the development of account plan which identifies opportunities, risks.
•    Take leadership role in key negotiation activities with select customers. 
•    Drive project development at select accounts.
•    Identify business growth targets at select customers within pharmaceutical excipients, API, and nutraceutical, dietary supplement markets.  
•     Utilize resources (marketing, technical support) to achieve optimum opportunity conversion  


Job Requirements


•    Ideally holding a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Biological Sciences, or related disciplines with several years commercial experience in a business-to-business environment ideally within a pharmaceutical or nutraceutical sales environment.
•    Your degree in Pharmacy, Biological Sciences, or related disciplines   or related discipline will be great in bringing new knowledge to the team.
•    We will rely on your 5-7 years of experience managing regional accounts with a successful track record of growing sales
•      Readiness for International travel (France and across Europe, approx. 25% travel)
•     Excellent presentation & communication skills  
•     Financial acumen (reports/data)
•     Experience of working in culturally and geographically diverse teams
•     Experience of project pipeline development. CRM (Sales Force)
•     Fluent/Native French with high degree of proficiency in English
