You possess strategic agility with a holistic understanding of Fragrance Industry and its products globally.

 

You spend your time doing...

In this role you will drive sustainable profitable sales & market share growth within our Consumer Fragrances division by identifying customer needs & opportunities, establishing/building solid customer relationship, leading & coordinating IFF activities and promoting/selling relevant IFF fragrance solutions for the client. Reporting to the Global Account Director, you will be accountable for achieving budgeted sales revenue and gross profit for one of the largest accounts in the scent division.

• Develop and implement a strategic plan to secure and grow IFF's NOAM Regional position and preferred supplier status with customer within categories of responsibility

• Profitably defend and grow IFF NOAM Regional sales for categories of responsibility.

• Develop in-depth relationships at all levels with customers for the categories of responsibility

• Lead projects and initiatives within IFF to maximize IFF's win rate

• Ability to deal with financial concepts and processes

*** Must be able to work in NYC office 3 days, option to work 2 days remotely. ***

Job Requirements

• 6-8 years progressive business experience with a commercial and client coordination focusUnderstanding or expertise in marketing, consumer insights, R&D, and market understanding preferably in the fragrance industry or other related industries (FMCG, Flavors, Chemicals, Ingredients)

• Ability to develop high quality account plans aligned with global category plans and ability to execute against them (including strong project management abilities)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (including strong presentation abilities)

• Skilled negotiator (internally and externally)

• Demonstrates a strong quality of perseverance

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills with the ability to lead and coordinate activities with internal support team and customers.

• Confident, dynamic and enthusiastic professional with ability to generate trust by delivering on commitments

• Highly proficient with Microsoft software including Word, Excel, Power Point, etc
