It’s an exciting time to be part of IFF, we are looking for a Senior Account Manager to become part of our industry-leading sales team.  As a Senior Account Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to drive sustainable profitable sales and market share growth by identifying customer needs & opportunities, and risks, with a focus on sizeable and complex accounts. The individual we are seeking will build long-term customer relationships, lead, and execute activities, and deliver relevant solutions aligned with corporate strategy.

 

Responsibilities:

For a defined territory, category, coordinated, or global account:

  • Set and align financial targets with management.
  • Develop and grow sustainable relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Prepare and communicate account plans and relevant market information.
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic innovation, creation, and sustainability solutions for the customer.
  • Analyze the customer products, competitors, consumer insights, and future trends to translate to actionable opportunities.
  • Partner with Operations to ensure customer satisfaction in terms of service, quality, and supply chain.

Job Requirements

 

  • Approximately 5-7 years of experience preferably with a minimum of 3 years of commercial experience in Fragrance / Chemical / FMCG or related Industries.
  • Strong track record at a similar level with a passion for succeeding in commercial sales.

 

Skills:

  • Ability to work autonomously and lead diverse and remote teams.
  • Customer-centric with B2B management experience.
  • Analytical with the ability to deal with financial concepts/processes 
  • (pricing/margin/forecasting).
  • Strong interests in product development/creation, consumers, and market 
  • understanding (Marketing/R&D/CI).
  • Solid fragrance knowledge and olfactive skills (raw materials, biochemistry, or skincare 
  • knowledge where applicable).
  • Creative and innovative mindset.
  • Project management with effective leadership, collaboration, and orchestration skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, storytelling, and negotiation skills.
  • English language proficiency with a global mindset and ability to work with different cultures.
  • Ability to navigate and use digital marketing and e-commerce.
  • Ability to gather and leverage both competitive market intelligence and customer insights.

 

Compensation ($130,000 - $150,000) is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, and location.
