Role Overview

 

Are you a Marketing Executive looking for something new? Looking for a role that will give you the autonomy to execute campaigns and drive marketing in the way you want?
You will be responsible for creating engaging content, implementing marketing campaigns, managing social media presence, and analysing marketing data. By collaborating with cross-functional teams you will contribute to the company's growth and market expansion. You’ll work closely with the Marketing Manager to implement new strategies as well as support our customers with the “what’s next” in food and beverage flavour trends. based in our Wellingborough office.

About You

 

•    Well-rounded experience and understanding of Marketing 
•    Customer-facing experience 
•    Proficient in PowerPoint 
•    Excellent communication skills and presentation skills are crucial, with a high level of professional behaviour both internally and externally.  
•    Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people from all backgrounds and disciplines to achieve desired objectives is a highly desired competency.  
•    Your ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively will be critical to your success 
•    Computer skills including MS Office products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) are required. 
•    Familiarity with Mintel Database a plus 
•    You will be supporting the growth of the company and brand by providing reactive and proactive customer support as directionally dictated by marketing and sales strategy. 
•    Reactive Customer Requests- Trend information, concept development lists, presentations, trend treks, one pagers, etc. This includes travel as needed to deliver in-person support. Up to 25% travel is expected. 
•    Proactive Projects- Establish customer promotions, trend infographics, topic one pagers and sell sheets, collateral materials for proactive meetings with customers, trend trek materials, and internal business meetings. 
•    Newsletter- Compile and publish monthly customer-facing newsletter showcasing new product launches and relevant trend topic articles. 
•    Additional functions as required by the role to support sales, marketing and company-wide initiatives, both internal and external. 

Required Skills

 

•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing-related field with related experience in the food ingredient industry
•    1-3 years experience working for a corporate marketing department, preferably in B2B
•    Strong research skills across various trade, subscription databases and internet channels
•    Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint, Excel and Word 
•    Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
•    Ability to analyse and interpret statistical market data
•    Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships
•    Work in and contribute to a positive team environment
•    Must be able to work well under pressure and thrive in fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

 

Preferred 


•    Some experience managing projects and supporting category/sales organizations
•    Experience giving presentations
•    Customer service experience and skills
•    Interest in learning and experimenting with the most up-to-date design, database and analysis tools and techniques to integrate into our outputs
