The Product Safety Site Leader has responsibility for overall continuous improvement and manufacturing programs including continuous improvement teams, root cause analysis and CAPA (Corrective and Preventative Action) investigations in a fast-paced production environment. 




Promote a continuous improvement and quality culture within your area of responsibility. Support and enforce all plant integrated management system policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner. 


  • Identify and champion opportunities for continuous improvement initiatives. 
  • Identifying vendor process improvement opportunities based on nonconformance trends. 
  • Provide status updates on process improvements and customer complaints to the management team in a regular basis. 
  • High level of interacting with the management team and escalating issues in a timely matter. 
  • Represent IFF/Tastepoint and manage the 3rd party auditing to ensure compliance of the facility to the standard. 
  • Fairly and consistently adhere to all Company and Plant procedures, work rules and guidelines. 
  • Work to build training content and organize training sessions as needed. Communicate methods, changes, scheduling, etc. as appropriate and required cross-functionally throughout the organization. 
  • Foster and maintain good employee relations through all the appropriate methods of communications and positive employee relations practices. 
  • Implement and track operational key performance indicators (KPI) for the quality area, monitor evolution and have operational reviews weekly/monthly. 
  • Ensures all quality and safety practices are always followed. 
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned. 



Job Requirements


  • Bachelor's Degree in Related Sciences 
  • 3-5 years experience in a variety of disciplines including quality, manufacturing, and/or cross functional teams. 
  • Excellent training, communication and negotiation skills. 
  • Experience managing customer and certification bodies. 
  • Prior experience in continuous improvement initiatives and Lean implementation a plus. 
  • Preferred experience in Flavor/Food.
