Job Description

We are currently looking for multiple manufacturing production positions on all shifts (skilled compounders, bottle line operators, spray dry operators, and receivers). We have limited spots on 1st shift and multiple opportunities on our 2nd & 3rd shift teams (training may occur on first shift).  Our compounders are responsible for chemical blending/processing in production including manual dispensing of all flavor chemicals and combining with automatically dispensed materials; also package and filter finished goods and replenish raw material inventory as necessary.


A production operator in the Reactions department is responsible for the accurate and timely manufacture of batches.  The operator is expected to accurately measure all required materials, correctly add, and effectively operate all pressure kettles and mix tanks, including, but not limited to:  scales, pumps, tanks and other manufacturing equipment.  The operator is expected to maintain a safe and sanitary work area by ensuring the department and all equipment are cleaned and kept in good working order.

Job Requirements

How you will spend your time...
Compounders and Spray Dry Operatrs Utilize instructions to precisely prepare our process based flavor batches as the production schedule dictates, ensuring proper packaging.
Bottle Line operators are directed by team leads for day to day activities
Maintain a safe working environment, utilize appropriate safety equipment and proactively improve the safety culture of the department.
Ensure proper use of scan guns for inventory and batch tracking
You must have good working knowledge of GMP's, HACCP, Inventory Control and maintain the highest levels of sanitation in and around your work area.
Operate automated compounding equipment as needed.
 
Required Skills and Experience
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, safety and effectively working with other members of the department.
Ability to lift 50 pounds without difficulty; push/pull 200+ pound drums with assistance.
Ability to weigh ingredients accurately utilizing tools such as a floor scale and flow meter
Capable of wearing a full-face respirator, clean shaven when required for handling of specific materials; and standard required PPE's at all times
Candidate should be computer literate, with the ability to properly use scan guns to ensure accuracy and inventory control.
English Fluency
High School diploma or GED
Forklift trained is preferred
Minimum 3 years experience if applying for a Compounding position.
Ability to push, pull, or shove 500-lbs with assistance from available mechanical devices.
Ability to handle multiple tasks.
Ability to interact with computer controls and computer controlled equipment.
Available to work 2nd or 3rd shift as needed to cover special situations, for ex., operator absence.
