Senior Tax Analyst - Provision

In this position you will serve as a key member of and collaborative partner to the Corporate Tax team. Prepare U.S and Non-U.S. tax provisions consistent with ASC 740, assist in the administration of direct income tax audits and administer, and initially review, U.S. income and franchise tax compliance.

How you will spend your time:
- Team with Tax Analyst to prepare monthly U.S. tax provisions.
- Execute monthly reviews of Non-U.S. income tax provisions.
- Perform analytics and reconciliations, and, on a quarterly basis, assist with the tax close, including the preparation of tax disclosures (i.e., 10-Q, 10-K).
- Administer U.S. income and franchise tax compliance by providing data necessary for preparation of the tax returns, including extensions and estimated tax payments.
- Coordinate with consultants and execute initial reviews.
- Participate in the administration of direct income tax audits (Corporate Income or Franchise Tax), and assist with the resolution of federal and state tax notices.
- Manage one Tax Analyst – Provisions
- Maintain excellent working relationships with Local Finance Controllers and Managers, Global Service Center, outside tax consultants, Corporate Tax and Finance Departments
About You:
- BA/BS in Finance, Accounting is preferred. MS in Taxation is preferred.
- CPA preferred
- Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment
- Solid tax acounting experience (ASC 740), includnig tax provision preparation and reconciliation of current and deferred tax accounts; Ability to research technical tax matters
- Extensive knowledge in federal and multistate income tax compliance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Required Experience:
- 3-5 years of corporate tax provision and compliance experience from a public accounting firm or large multinational corporation
- Experience with ONESOURCE Income Tax Provision preferred
- Strong organizational, time management and communication skills
- Ability to make assumptions based on experience, and use best judgement when preparing the income tax provisions and federal and state extension and estimated tax calclations
- Ensure proper documentation is maintained when preparing tax provisions and tax returns
- Stay up-to-date on trending federal and state tax law and ensure newly enacted tax laws are incorported into tax provisions in the proper period.
