Job Description
Tastepoint by IFF is growing and we are looking for a Strategic Pricing Manager to join our team.  As Strategic Pricing Manager, you will provide pricing, analysis, strategy, development efforts and execution of the strategy to the Tastepoint Commercial team while reporting to the Regional Strategic Pricing and Business Manager. You will support efforts drive improvements in regional pricing tools.  

Job Requirements

How you will spend your time
•Provide analytical and business support to Regional Strategic Pricing and Business Manager
•Pricing strategy in North America for the IFF-Tastepoint division
•Support Business Development/NA Pricing Manager with key initiatives to execute business strategy, provide analysis, and execute thorough follow through and delivery to the business
•Support Business Development/NA Pricing Manager with key initiatives to execute cross-functional/cross entity/ cross-geography coordination
•Lead financial analysis in response to customer’s core listing processes, in close collaboration with the Commercial sales team
•Proactively analyze markets, in order to proactively identify and propose sales/profitability enhancement opportunities, 
•Strategically network with other functions segments or leveraging opportunities, profitability/cost containment initiatives
•Drive strategic initiatives as assigned by General Manager related to strategy execution and profitability/market share growth initiatives, directing/engaging relevant team members as needed
•Managing the annual pricing review process which will include working across several different groups in order to achieve corporate mandated goals. 
•Training the Commercial team in best practices for strategic pricing
•Partnering with the Finance organization in order to remain in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements 
•Continuously strive for margin improvement and optimization 
•Actively support the Global/Regional team with pricing information related to each market


Job Requirements and Necessary Experience


•Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business, Finance or any other relevant discipline. 
•10 years of Experience in B2B industry with proven track record. 
•Strong business acumen with financial and analytical skills.
•Ability to learn at fast pace, understand IFF innovation, technology and position them as competitive advantage.  
•High level of learning agility and commitment.
•Demonstrate leadership potential, cultural agility and emotional maturity
•Team player and active player with key stakeholders.
•Appreciation and experience working in various cultures and internationally mobile.
•Able to work effectively under global matrix structure with various stakeholders.
•Fluency in English, plus other language fluency is a plus. 
•Strong proficiency in Excel. PowerPoint.
•Experience working with SAP and Power BI preferred.
