We are looking for our next Accountant/ Financial Analysist to join our team.   This role reports to the Sr Account/Controller for our IFF Frutarom US business.  Ideal location in Hazlet or Ridgefield NJ, with options for remote work. 

Major Responsibilities: Finance Management

• Provide general accounting support for multiple US Business Units

• Conduct end to end monthly closing process including:
  • financial analysis and account review to prepare & post journal entries
  • review & adjust preliminary financial results
  • reconcile trial balance to subledgers, including inventory, A/R, A/P, FA
  • review financial results from final consolidation system CFIN
  • expose significant fluctuations
  • open/close oracle transaction modules A/P, A/R & FA

• Liaison with BSSC for transactional accounting & credit related to A/P and A/R

• Oversee intercompany treasury (netting)

• Bank reconciliations for both accounting and cash management

• Balance sheet reconciliations and fluctuation analysis

• Daily positive pay review and review/enforcement of fraud controls

• Audit support

Job Requirements

• 3-7 years of accounting and reporting

• Understanding of US GAAP

• BA/BS in Accounting/Finance or comparable experience

• Oracle and SAP experience a significant plus

• Superior Excel capabilities

• A/R and A/P accounting

• Highly organized & detail-oriented

• Ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
