Are you passionate about consumers and scents? Then you might be interested in a role as Consumer Insight Manager in IFF’s Body Care Innovation Center in Neuilly France from January 30th till July 7th 2023.

As Consumer Insights Manager you represent the voice of the consumer within IFF and help to build powerful insights driving innovation and adding value to our clients and consumers. Reporting to the Director, Marketing & Consumer Insights, Consumer Fragrances for EAME, you will help identify and translate data-driven, actionable insights along with competitive and market analyses into more effective innovation and collaborate with key stakeholders to develop clear and strategic fragrance offerings. You will also manage consumer testing across Body Care categories, collect test data for statistical analysis, interpreting and communicating test results and efficiently manage resources.

As a Consumer Insights Manager, you will spend your time:

  • Driving both qualitative and quantitative creative research to create and champion strategic recommendations based on data, market trends and consumer facts
  • Synthesizing research findings into actionable insights for the Body Care teams, backed by robust data
  • Analyzing existing data to uncover fact-based insights and partner with commercial, marketing, and creative teams to develop holistic offerings
  • Ensure that key insights are understood and can be effectively leveraged to secure customer briefs as well as promote CI capabilities to both Account Managers and directly to customers whenever needed.
  • Briefing vendors and assess proposals against aims, objectives and budgets
  • Delivering against the company and team goals and timelines, tailoring research approaches accordingly

Job Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Self-motivation and the ability to juggle an array of tasks


Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience with analyzing data, quantitative research and/or consumer insights. 
  • Must be an independent, strategic, and creative thinker who is a strong team player and willing to take on additional responsibilities as necessary
  • Skilled in Excel and PowerPoint, and Statistical software
  • Fluent in English



  • Master's Degree in Statistics, Market Research or Psychology
  • Progressive thinker
  • Knowledge of leading-edge qualitative methodologies and appreciation of quantitative consumer research
  • Other Foreign Language knowledge a plus (French)
