Job Description

As a matter of fact, we’ve been doing it for more than 130 years.IFF is looking for an Associate HRBP to support the continuous growth of Human Resources in Japan & Korea. 
Your Focus
As Associate HRBP, you will thrive working in a corporate matrix environment that demands a manager and employee. The key assignment will be responsible for:
•Support all Japan IFF legal entities(IFF Japan, Danisco Japan and N&B) and sites that businesses require to meet the various needs of general HR services mainly covering talent acquisitions(experience recruiting(junior, senior and executives), direct sourcing, offer management, HR marketing and employer branding)
•Talent management (planning, executing and facilitating) and agency temp management. 
•Support as general HR professional in areas of company policy and procedures.
•Compensation & benefits, work rules, employee engagement and supporting supervisor (Human Resources in Japan)    
This position is Japan based and will report to the North Asia, People Services Cluster Leader (Human Resources in Japan)  

How you will Contribute
•Business Support
Provide support to supervisor in response to employee needs or queries on company policy and procedures, work rules and benefit programs. Contribute to the effectiveness of the site/country HR team and work proactively with other HR members on location or in the BU with implementing HR initiatives to support business goals.
•Talent Management
Lead in the hiring/recruitment process by coordinating job postings, creating interview guides based on Interview Architect, scheduling candidate interviews for hiring managers, administering assessments and coordinating on-boarding, as well as closing the position in SuccessFactors. Partner with supervisor and Regional Recruiter (COE) as applicable in sourcing/ identifying candidates. Provide support to HR Cluster Lead Japan & Korea in coordinating / scheduling the talent review for specific functions and in gathering pertinent employee information used in the review. Lead the development and delivery of local training initiatives. Lead with HR Centers of Excellence (COE) for L&D in the implementation of global or regional learning & development programs, performance management and execution of performance improvement plans.
•Employee Relations
Support supervisor in responding to and managing employee issues. Provide support to supervisor in implementing and ensuring compliance to IFF’s policies and procedures that support IFF’s desired culture.
•Compensation & Benefits
Support supervisor with compensation management, as needed, including collecting monthly changes/updates for payroll purpose, data submission for salary surveys. Assist in managing employee benefits, including statutory social benefits and company supplementary benefits program (e.g. medical, insurance, health checks). Support supervisor in partnering with HR Center of Excellence (COE) in implementing best practices in areas of compensation & benefits.  
•HR Operation
Accountability for HR Data integrity. Ensure HR data integrity and reporting in SAP HR, Personal File and any other information for auditing. Delivery of Reporting and Insight to support business decision making and future planning. Produce standard employee reporting for the business / finance on a regular basis or when necessary. Supporting and facilitating for company-wide activities, THM, outing, meeting and tasks. Communicating with global and regional team to receive necessary input and guidance when needed.

Job Requirements

What you will need to be successful
•    Bachelor degree qualification.
•    Minimum 5 years HR professional experience in company (manufacturing company is better).
•    Native Japanese and fluent English (TOEIC 700 or higher is preferred).
•    Ability to operate the required computer systems (SAP preferred, Microsoft Office application, SuccessFactors, etc.).
•    Ability to analyse basic financial data with Excel and arrange presentation material with Power Point and other tools. 
•    Good interpersonal communication skills (including verbal, phone, and e-mail) both externally and internally.
•    Ability to work professionally and effectively with external customers and with many internal functional groups and Businesses.
•    Self-driven, positive mindset with proven ability to work and manage time and priorities, strong team spirits, honest, fairness and trustworthy, customer-oriented hospitality.
