Your Focus


As Regional Account Manager, you will create and sustain successful partnerships regionally with IFF Global Key Accounts and deliver profitable sales growth by matching customer’s needs. The role will see you driving and achieving financial metrics for IFF solutions through the development, you will ensure sub regional team alignment and lead execution of the Global Key Account plans into the Greater Asia Region. You will consistently adhere to and embrace IFF Cultures & Value principles, business requirements and guidelines.

 

This is a Singapore based position and will report to Sub-Regional Sales Leader, South East Asia

 

How You Will Contribute

 

  • Understand customers strategy, key stakeholders and decisions makers within the organization, brands, and opportunity potential for IFF and collaboratively work within IFF to deliver value to their business.
  • Understand and leverage IFF’s strategy, organization, capabilities, proprietary technologies, resources, product, and service offerings so that IFF is positioned as a strategic trusted partner that demonstrates value to both the customer and IFF’s business.
  • Create, present, and execute regional strategic account plan that is aligned with Global business objectives. Update Global Key Account team and keep them sustainable, actionable in co-ordination and collaboration with regional and sub regional teams.
  • Identify and create new business opportunities for IFF working with the IFF local regional, sub regional and category teams to develop and execute plans to generate project pipeline and new business.
  • Communicate within the organisation the identified key future growth opportunities to gain buy-in from the stakeholders to gain the necessary investment and support not already available to meet the growth market opportunity.
  • Maximize profit levers under your control within global policy to deliver IFF profit targets.
  • Provide a timely and accurate Activity Report to the Sales Leader for inclusion in the ASEAN reporting requirements to effectively measure progress against agreed plans and to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.  Reports will be completed as per company standards.
  • Work cooperatively and collaborate with peers and management to ensure personal and company sales targets and performance measures are achieved and team-based culture fostered.  
     

Job Requirements

What you will need to be successful

 

  • Tertiary Qualification in Business, Food Science and Technology, Food and Nutrition, Marketing.
  • Min of 6 years working in Strategy and Business Develop and or sales. 
  • Demonstrated business and commercial acumen.
  • Proven project management skills where ownership of driving new business opportunities is clearly demonstrated by influencing team members to achieve project outcomes.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.  Demonstrates respect for people
  • Ability to assimilate commercial and/or technical information and communicate effectively team members.
  • Proven ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and listening skills that are service orientated and focused on exceeding expectations.
  • Demonstrated “can do” attitude, positive approach to problem solving and flexible in being able to prioritise multiple tasks.
  • A sound knowledge of computerized office software and business operating systems.
