What you will contribute and lead
As Senior Account Manager, you will drive and manage regional growth across South East Asia for the Detergents category for one of our global customer. 

You will have the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of IFF Fragrances businesses by driving revenue, generating strategies, and serving as a trusted business partner to our largest customers.

You will spend your time… 

  • Developing and growing assigned products category, accountable for achieving business targets
  • Managing budget and rolling sales forecast for the assigned product category
  • Formulating annual customer business plan that includes marketing and sales strategies to grow the assigned category in the key account and achieve the respective sales objectives 
  • Building and maintaining relationship with key stakeholders in different levels of the customer’s organization
  • Keeping abreast of trade developments, competition, emerging consumer’s behaviors and trends 
  • Establishing a strong link with our internal Global Organization, dealing with different cultures and positions.
  • Keeping the margins of the fragrance portfolio of the assigned product category within the parameters defined by the organization
  • Identifying new business opportunities and work closely with Regional Account Manager and Global Category Coordinator to translate opportunities into actionable plans. 
  • Maintaining updated knowledge of customer’s portfolio and their competitors, and sharing information about new products in the market with the customer.
  • Leading cross-functional project teams for new creations, technical assessments and presentations of market analysis
  • Submitting IFF creations for proactive and reactive projects, together with commercial proposal
  • Delivering presentations about market and trends analysis
  • Working closely with the Fragrances Creative team in the organization of promotional activities such as trade exhibitions, road shows etc.
Job Requirements

What you will need to be successful

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Chemistry or any other relevant discipline
  • Strong interest in perfumery and product development (Marketing/R&D) is mandatory
  • Creative and innovative thinking
  • Great business acumen and orientation to results
  • Excellent negotiation and customer relationship management skill
  • Ability to deal with financial concepts/processes i.e. pricing, margin, forecasting, statistics and IT systems 
  • Project management, strong analytical and planning skills especially at priority setting
  • Ability to communicate well and possess excellent presentation skills 
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Proficiency in computing skills such as Microsoft Suite especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Olfactory smelling skills is a plus


Essential Experience

  • Min 5-7 years of Global sales account management experience, comprising of sales activities mapping, negotiation and project management
  • Good knowledge of South East Asia Fragrance Detergent market, portfolio, marketing trends and olfactive routes 
  • Proven track record of fragrance industry experience preferably in fragrance detergent or fabrics care category
  • Experience in working across functional areas to accomplish objectives
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work in matrix environment with different business leaders and cross functional teams
  • Willing to travel
