(Associate) Engineer I, Process R&D

We are looking for an (Associate) Engineer I to join our Process R&D team in Tilburg, Netherlands. If you have a background in organic chemistry and enjoy working in the laboratory to introduce, optimize and scale up processes, we want to hear from you!

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• As an (Associate) Engineer I, you will be part of the process R&D team and support EU and global projects. 
• The successful candidate will be responsible for the validation, optimization and scale up of new and existing processes mainly manufactured in the IFF Nourish Plant in Tilburg.
• During your research in the laboratory or factory you will investigate, challenge, and advise if new processes or ideas are realistic to be introduced into the factory with high focus on safety and quality. 
• All process steps will be documented into an instruction document (in Dutch) and will be discussed and aligned with the process engineer and operators in the factory. The first production batches will be supervised by you and after a successful completion the process will be transferred to the factory. Furthermore, you will work on continuous improvement projects in multidisciplinary teams. 
• In this multifunctional role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the different Operations and R&D teams during your work week. 
   

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• You have a background in (organic) chemistry, bachelor’s, or master’s Degree.
• You’re fluent in Dutch.
• The ideal candidate will have experience in Food Industry (not a must).
• Experience: - Freshers to 12 Years.
