Job Description


A Senior Manager, Identity & Access Management position is available at one of the worlds best fragrance and flavor companies. As a leader in our Global InfoSec team, the Identity and Access Management (IAM) role will provide strategic leadership for a high-performing team of IAM analysts, engineers and architects to define and deploy the IAM strategy for IFF. You will have a deep understanding of the technology transformation occurring in the IAM space and how to leverage and deliver benefits across the IFF enterprise. 


About You: 

As the Senior Manager, Identity & Access Management, you will have experience with IAM products including Azure AD, Active Directory, SAP, SuccessFactors, Okta, PAM, Net IQ, Powershell, Solarwinds, and ServiceNow. You will have the confidence in leading diverse matrix teams independently, making decisions daily as it relates to successful delivery of the program, and have the ability to know when critical decisions must be raised to senior level and/or business unit management to ensure the program remains on track. The Senior Manager, IAM has a strong knowledge of identity services, role-based access control, multi-factor authentication, and SSO & related standards (e.g. SAML, OAUTH, NTLM, LDAP, Kerberos, PKI, etc.). Overall, you have a roll-up your sleeves mentality to jump in any situation.

  • Assisting with managing development and operational support with the adoption of next generation IAM solutions  
  • Participating in projects and initiatives working with IAM team members, architectural, development and engineering teams, service owners, and business stakeholders to provide enterprise IAM solutions that are scalable and adaptable with the ever-changing business needs and industry demands.
  • Fostering a culture that supports technical and operational excellence
  • Preparing and implementing strategic and operational plans of actions to ensure that systems, procedures, staffing, support services and capacity are available when needed
  • Working directly with stakeholders in a multi-disciplined team structure, designing and deploying IAM strategy and solutions across a variety of vendor platforms
  • Understanding the business direction and create optimized IAM architectures to meet business needs
  • Acting as an IAM thought leader, consistently researching new ways to improve IAM operations and overall strategy
  • Ensuring adherence to Security Controls, Policies and Standards with a focus on automation and control
  • Assessing the current IT architecture and future requirements
  • Listing standard versus in-house applications, with version details, that must integrate with IAM
  • Ensure compatibility between the current OS, third-party applications, web servers, and identity and access management tools
  • Integrating access control devices, behavior analytics and adaptive access with IAM solutions
  • Clearly designating e user roles and define everyone or group’s access privileges and restrictions
  • Assessing the required level of customization so IAM fits the enterprise
  • Verifying that the system complies with any laws or regulatory requirements from local or national governments


Job Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in Information Technology and Information Security
  • 8+ years of experience working in Identity & Access Management
  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing staff
  • CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certification a plus
  • Previous experience rolling out IAM strategy within an enterprise environment
  • Experience leading and mentoring teams with various technical backgrounds
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong track record of delivering high level of service
