Working alongside our offshore infrastructure support and engineering colleagues, the future Senior Network Architect is responsible for designing, deploying, governing and operating our next-generation global network. IFF’s Next Generation Telecommunications design will include a global migration from legacy MPLS/DMVPN to a fully supported VeloCloud SD-WAN platform utilizing a fully automated process to manage changes and zero touch provisioning. Additionally, we are moving towards a fully automated and remotely managed Aruba Switching platform to compliment the already existing wireless architecture.  Your skills will contribute to the management of local area networks wide area networks, Firewalls (Palo Alto), Aruba Wi-Fi Policy Management systems and access points, digital voice, a Microsoft-centric Unified Communications and Collaboration and other data communications systems. A full-stack engineer, well versed in a range of technologies including security best practices and public cloud paradigms will perform analysis of network security needs and contribute to design, integration, and installation of hardware and software.

  • Ensuring full resiliency and a low/no outage design taking into account the user experience from an application performance perspective.
  • Oversee the service delivery of our Telecom providers including BT, AT&T, and local ISPs
  • Designing, implementing, and providing security maintenance of highly complex network technology platforms
  • Configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting network devices (Cisco & Aruba) as well as perimeter security systems such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems as required (Palo Alto, ASA, & Firepower).
  • Implement network security policies and standards; reviews network security, access control, and data safeguards.
  • Monitoring the security and reliability of network infrastructure
  • SDN, SD-WAN design and deployment in support of resilient global WAN infrastructure using VMWare Velocloud.
  • Master our Aruba wireless network standard that supports secured access via the Clearpass access controls
  • Deploying and supporting of Unified Communications and VoIP.
  • Ability to support hybrid and public cloud environments (AWS & Azure).
  • Providing strong Governance of global environment providing patching, compliance, and performance metrics.
Job Requirements

Required Experience:

  • Must have at least 7 years of experience as a Network Engineer designing and implementing enterprise level networking equipment and security design.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or electronics and communication engineering.
  • ITIL Foundation certification
  • Cisco Certifications: CCNP+ preferred.

Leadership Behaviors
This position will require the applicant to work closely with other network engineers in designing solutions. In addition, collaboration is required with the other IT and non-IT groups as the situation dictates.
